Skrotfrag clarifies the concept of Circular Economy!
Circular economy is an expression that is heard more and more often, but what does it really mean?
The term often risks being used too broadly and is mostly about waste management, but it is really so much more. Circular economy can be compared to linear economy which is about extracting natural resources, producing, consuming and after a while discarding. A more accepted expression of linear economy is the "wear-and-tear society".
Circular economy is the opposite of linear economy which is about taking care of everything that is manufactured and ensuring that used products are recycled and reused as much as possible. A transition to a circular economy is necessary to save the climate and reduce the over-utilization of the earth's resources. We at Skrotfrag recycle for the future, welcome to one of our 24 facilities to do the same!
