When scrapping transformers, extra safety measures must be taken as they may contain hazardous waste in the form of insulating oils, mercury and PCBs. There are also metals that must be returned to the cycle without the spread of environmentally hazardous substances.

SCRAP TRANSFORMERS

In Ulricehamn, we clean the transformers completely in accordance with environmental regulations and requirements. To recycle the materials, they are then sent to one of our fragmentation plants. We transport, store, disassemble and report back detailed waste statistics that meet regulatory requirements. You can be sure that we recycle all recyclable ingredients.

PAYMENT

Skrotfrag is a member of Svenska Järn and according to the industry association's decision, we will stop handling cash from 1 January 2013. Checks are also covered, as they are equated with cash. As a supplier to us, you have the opportunity to get paid in the following ways:

Payment by bank transfer (applies to companies)

Deposit takes place via bank account or swish (private person)

You can become an "invoice customer" (applies to companies)

We guarantee that all recycling takes place in accordance with current environmental legislation. What has been drained or dismantled during environmental remediation is recycled or destroyed in accordance with the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency's rules and instructions.
